Deanne Thomas, the founder of May Thomas, developed a passion for jewellery at a young age. Her grandparents May and Thomas would return from their travels abroad with gifts of rare, delightful jewellery and gems.  Although not always expensive, the sentimental value still remains.

Having started jewellery making in Lamberhurst, Kent, Deanne then went on to study Fine Jewellery and Silversmithing Design at the Sir John Cass Faculty in London.  Fully aware of the expertise and skill needed to transform raw materials into glorious pieces of art; Deanne aims to share her passion with a wider audience.

Discovering unique and often inaccessible works by emerging, new and established jewellers from around the globe and within the UK they are introduced to a new audience.  Many of the designs are exclusive to May Thomas in the UK.
